General vessel description
Albin trawlers are solid, seaworthy, with a time proven design built by a company that has been building yachts for over 100 years. This 38 Foot Albin incorporates many amenities of a much larger vessel.
Choosing the right vessel took some time and research but it was well worth it! I have spared no expense or time to ensure our clients’ comfort and safety.
It offers an open and spacious layout, above and below deck that provides enjoyment, comfort, and safety throughout the seasons.
Walking around the top decks is safe and easy with wide side decks and an open bow/stern layout. For extra safety the deck area is surrounded with two rows of stainless-steel lifelines and 1” bow and stern rail with plenty of safety grab bars throughout the vessel.
The swim platform is easily accessed via 3 steps from the aft deck.
Three steps above the aft deck is the fly bridge. It features an upper helm station with full navigational controls, gauges, and electronics. Comfort amenities include a full Bimini that will protect you from the sun and foul weather. A pair of large, custom cushion benched bench seats, 2 cushioned pedestal seats, custom audio system, ambient lighting for nighttime use and an abundance of storage. This area is perfect for entertaining up to 8 people safely. This is the most elevated section of the vessel providing superb views while keeping you safe and dry.
The salon consists of a very large open area midship of the vessel. It’s surrounded by tinted safety glass windows that can open and close. It creates a very open feeling providing a 360-degree view and delivers an abundance of natural lighting and ventilation. It is also mechanically heated or cooled providing enjoyment for all seasons. It incorporates the lower helm station with full navigational electronics. Furnishings include a large settee and three custom pedestal chairs which can be transformed as needed into a 3-foot-long buffet table. The salon area protects you from the elements and is extremely comfortable and safe.
Going forward and down 2 steps is the galley and dinette area. The U-shaped dinette offers comfortable seating for all guests and easily converts to a double berth. The custom-built galley is on the port and offers all the storage and amenities for the cruising lifestyle. The full forward head/bathroom is located on the starboard side. The cabin area has its own dedicated air conditioning and heating system for year-round comfort. The cabin is laid out with portlights and a large hatch that provide an abundance of natural lighting and ventilation.
Going aft through the salon and down 2 steps is the aft state room. It includes a queen size berth, hanging locker, plenty of storage and a full head/bathroom. It is surrounded by portlights providing ample ventilation and natural lighting. To provide year-round comfort the state room has its own heating and air conditioning system.
